The Tract That God Created

It all started many years ago.  I heard this sermon on the radio where a preacher told a story of how he asked someone if they wanted to be forgiven for their sins.  The person paused and then asked, “All my sins?”  The speaker went on to tell that forgiveness was the main spiritual benefit we need to tell people about.  Over the next few months, the Spirit of God would not allow that idea to leave my mind.  As I looked in the scriptures, I saw that the preacher was right.  I had never seen before how prevalent the subject of forgiveness was in relation to salvation.

As I came to understand the importance of offering forgiveness to people, (see Luke 24:45-47), God motivated me to start the process of making a gospel tract around this primary spiritual enticement.

I say a process because that’s exactly what it has been.  I've spent many years writing, praying, asking others, changing, waiting on the Holy Spirit, rewriting, searching for verses, asking for more feedback, changing things again, and so on.  Over that time I got input from many people, and about twenty of them have made contributions to the tract—as I became the general editor.  It was a very long, tedious process, but God motivated me to stick with it, and the result is a short, scripture-laden salvation appeal unlike any other in print. (Be sure to read the "Lighthouse" book to see how the essential elements of the gospel have been included in the FORGIVEN tract.)

In the middle of producing the tract, God gave me the vision for the Evil and Suffering booklet. As soon as it was done He then gave me the idea for writing the  Money, God, & Promises—which has turned out to be the "go to" booklet that most people give out first.

I was anxious to get the tract printed and use it, but I had learned to wait for when God thought it was done. The reason I had a hard time waiting was because I hadn’t shared my faith with anyone for decades, and I really felt guilty about it.  I knew the FORGIVEN tract and booklets would motivate me to share the gospel with others on paper and that’s exactly what they have done.  I now place or give out many booklets each week because it’s so easy to do.  If you are fearful or shy, you don’t have to see or talk to anyone to share the good news—just leave a tract where someone can find it, or hand it to someone you see. The possibilities are endless. (You will find ideas for distribution in the "Lifesaver" book—

A SIMPLE WAY TO SAVE SOULS WITHOUT SAYING A WORD.)

Wise Choice Ministry is all about making evangelism booklets and related publications available to individuals and the church,  and we are a non-profit organization.  I promised God years ago that I would never take any money from these booklets or tracts for myself, and neither does anyone else.  Any profit we receive goes into promoting and developing publications for getting out the gospel.  Every booklet you buy helps to promote them elsewhere—which then multiplies God's outreach. You are a part of the good news spreading in this way with every purchase you make.

I am glad you came to this website since the materials within can absolutely revitalize your Christian walk—with your responsibility to share Christ—but only if you will use them.  I promise you that anyone can witness like this because it's so easy. No experience or training is required to hand someone a booklet!

It is a privilege to pass on to you what God has been doing in my life.  You too can easily give out the gospel now for the one who will save you from hell and has given you a new life. It's the least we can do for all He has done for us. "For [we are] not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Rom. 1:16a).

Sharing for our Savior,

Toby Johnson
